Artist Statement

Annemieke BroeninkAnnemieke Broenink is a Dutch designer with a passion for fashion and accessory. She is educated as a fashion designer and worked a long time in design and sales in the fashion industry in Amsterdam.

Since 2004 Annemieke Broenink develops her own collection of necklaces. These are a combination of arts, craft and fashion. She produces all her creations in her own studio. It is a passion to develop new applications of basic materials which are originally designed for other purposes. Annemieke Broenink is well known as an artist who creates necklaces and other accessories inspired and produced by rubber. This material invites her to explore new directions.
